Ahead of Pantameras second season, ESL will be hosting several GO4 Cups in which Scandinavian teams will be able to qualify for the main tournament.
During the qualifying stages, the teams competing will also be able to make a decent amount of money.
– We are thrilled to be working with Pantamera on the Go4CS:GO Nordic project. It will be one of the first serious regular prized competitions aimed solely at the Nordic talent base, and we look forward to watching the competitive scene develop whilst discovering professional gamers of tomorrow, Samuel Renström, Nordic Community Manager at ESL says.

Through two seasons, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish as well as Icelandic CS:GO-teams will be able to qualify for the upcoming Pantamera event that will once again be held at Inferno Online in Stockholm.

With 100 Euros on the line each week, the season will consist of 13 mini tournaments every Wednesday for 13 weeks each season. Once the initial season is over, 16 teams will then battle it out for a spot in the big qualifying finals.

Eventually, once the smoke have settled, two teams will advance to the main stage, where some of the best teams will compete. This year Fnatic took home their first LAN-victory on Swedish soil of the year and at the same time took home the lion share of a prize pool created by Swedes recycling cans and bottles. The prize pool for this years event was 25 000 Euro, a pool the organizers hopes will be beaten the second season.
