Confirmed: Diglife acquires LGB Esports
avYesterday, Aftonbladet Esport revealed that a deal between investment company Diglife and LGB Esports was imminent.
Now the deal has been made public, and Diglife are looking forward to presenting their squad later this week.
”We are excited about acquiring LGB Esports, we have some interesting ideas we want to explore going into 2015 within electronic sports”, founder Hicham Chahine says.
After aquiring shares in Ninjas in Pyjamas and Copenhagen Wolves, Diglife now purchases Swedish esports organisation LGB Esports and are looking to revive their CS:GO team, as revealed yesterday by Aftonbladet Esport.

Squad will be presented on New Year’s
LGB Esports placed 3/4 during the EMS One Katowice championship in 2014 but disbanded only months later. Now they’re setting out to once again rank among the star teams in Europe and the world. According to Aftonbladet Esport sources, the squad will be revealed on New Year’s Eve.
Amongst the rumored players, the former London Conspiracy team has been mentioned, but also ex Fnatic star Andreas ”Schneider” Lindberg who, during a Twitch session, revealed a pdf document on his desktop named ”LGB contract”.
