After struggling for over a year to win a LAN event, it only took three weeks with a new lineup to secure a tournament victory for Kévin ’Ex6TenZ’ Droolans and his Titan.
And it was a relieved captain that celebrated the victory afterwards.
– I’ve invested a lot of time into VeryGames and Titan, and it’s mentally hard to keep losing. With the new lineup we’re more stable, like a machine, and that explains our good result.

It’s been a tough year for Titan and ex VeryGames captain Kévin ’Ex6TenZ’ Droolans. Since they were on the top of the CS:GO world when they claimed the EMS One Raidcall title during fall of 2013, his team’s results have been lackluster. Since they signed with Titan after the DreamHack Winter tournament, they’ve failed to win a single tournament for over a year – until yesterday.

”I was criticised a lot”

Only three weeks after completing the new lineup, they secured the DreamHack Stockholm title. Beating NiP, Fnatic and LDLC in the process, it seems the new Titan lineup is a force to be reckoned with again.
– I’m really happy with the result. I was criticised a lot when we were losing, but I always knew I had the skill to play at this level. Our last team had too many individuals, and that’s why we kept on losing.

”We’re just gonna keep training”

And now, the team that’s only had three weeks to prepare for the DreamHack finals, will work even harder to perform in the future.
– We can’t say we’re the best team right now, that makes no sense. We could’ve lost against NiP and been top 8. But we see that things are working between us and we’re just gonna keep on training.
