Fight Night returns June 1 – Fnatic to defend title

After defeating Team SoloMid 3-0 in the Fight Night premiere on April 13th, Fnatic are the reigning champions.
On June 1st they’ll get a chance to defend their title as the format returns.
A yet to be announced team will get the chance to beat the Swedes and claim the 3000 dollar prize pool.
The first edition of Aftonbladet Esport ”Fight Night”, sponsored by LeoVegas, saw Fnatic take a convincing victory over Team SoloMid despite their vacation after the ESL One Katowice victory.
With 3000 dollars in their pockets and the first Fight Night title belt claimed, the Swedish powerhouse is set to face another top team and try to remain kings of the hill.
After the last win, Jesper ”JW” Wecksell expressed a wish to face EnVyUs in the next edition.
– I want to face EnVyUs. To be honest I wanted to meet them in the final of ESL One, I was kind of disappointed we didn’t get to face them in that match, he said after routing Team SoloMid.
But the challengers have not yet been confirmed, so it’s too early to say if the Fnatic sniper gets his wishes fulfilled. We are aiming to getting one of the very best teams in the world to enter the BO5, so stay tuned for more updates.
Plus, Swedish viewers will once again get a chance to win a VIP trip to the ESL One Cologne tournament in August, valued at around 2000 dollars.
