Fnatic and EnVyUs meet in BO5 for first time as ”Fight Night” returns

After winning the first edition of Aftonbladet Esport ”Fight Night”, JW expressed a wish to face EnVyUs in their next encounter.
Now, the dream matchup becomes a reality as the DreamHack Winter champions are set to challenge the Swedish powerhouse.
The game will be the first time ever that the teams face off in a BO5 series in their current organizations.
Fnatic won the first Fight Night after beating Team SoloMid 3-0. In the post-game interview, star AWPer Jesper ”JW” Wecksell expressed an interest in facing EnVyUs as the swedes were set to defend their king of the hill status.
– I want to face EnVyUs, I wanted to face them in the Katowice finals. I was a bit disappointed they didn’t make it there, he said in April.
5000 dollar prize pool
Now, his wishes will be granted as Fnatic will go up against the french major winners in a BO5 on June 9th. The prize pool has been raised, from 3000 dollars ”winner takes all”, to a 5000 dollar pool where the victors walk away with 3000 dollars and the losers get a 2000 dollars consolation prize. Even though the teams have been the two best CS:GO squads in the World for some time, the second Fight Night will mark the first BO5 encounter between the sides since the french team left LDLC.
New chance to win VIP trip
Like last time, Aftonbladet Esport along with LeoVegas will give a lucky CS:GO fan a chance of winning a VIP trip to ESL One Cologne, to a total value of around 1800 euros. The winner will receive plane tickets, a hotel stay and VIP tickets for him/her and a friend when the tournament is arranged between August 22-23. (Competition only available for Swedish fans, unfortunately).
