Fnatic and TSM face off in BO5 as new format ”Fight Night” premieres
avOn Monday, April 13th, we at Aftonbladet Esport premiere our new format where selected top teams will face off in a BO5.
The first game will see Katowice champions Fnatic take on danish squad Team SoloMid, and for Swedish viewers there’s more at stake than cheering for a team.
During the game we will announce the winner of our competition, who will receive a VIP trip to attend ESL One Cologne between August 22 and 23.
In the midst of tournaments with BO1 group stages, where teams rarely get a fair chance to display their true capacity, we wanted to give the World’s best players more opportunities to really measure themselves with the competition. That’s why we’re launching the new CS:GO format ”Fight Night”, where we will invite the very best teams in the world to face each other in BO5:s for a cash prize of 3000 dollars, winner takes all, each game.
The first edition will take place on Monday the 13th at 7PM CET, and will see Fnatic fight it out with danish rivals Team SoloMid. At the caster’s desk you’ll find none other than RoomOnFire’s own Auguste ”Semmler” Massonnat and Halvor ”vENdetta” Gulestøl.
For Swedish viewers there’s even more at stake than usual, as we have also announced our competition where we partner up with LeoVegas to send a lucky winner along with a friend to attend ESL One Cologne this summer. VIP tickets, flights and a hotel room for three nights means that the value of the prize is around 1400 dollars. To read more about the competition and how to sign up, check this link (Swedish).
