The CS:GO scene is growing like ever before. More players are finding out about the game and the same time CS:GO is bigger than ever on Twitch.
Now Counter-Strike will take an other big step forward.
– Intel will become our sponsors, Stephanie ”Missharvey” Harvey, who’s not only the co-owner of UBINITED but also a player, tells Aftonbladet Esport.

As ESL One Katowice is underway four team have also qualified for the Intel Challenge tournament with 30 000 euros. Among them is UBINITED from the other side of the pond who have travelled all the way from USA and Canada to compete in the big tourney. But not only that, they are also here to announce their new sponsorship deal with Intel.
– We are really fortunate and lucky, Stephanie ”Missharvey” Harvey, the co-owner of the team, tells Aftonbladet Esport.

”Will have to attend more events”

While the famous Twitch-star have been able to reschedule her work hours thanks to the income from the big broadcasting service, she now says that the new sponsorship will mean a lot not only for the team – but for herself as well.
– I will have to attend more events and take more time off and it will change my responsibilities at Ubisoft, Missharvey says and continues:
– But the deal is a full lead sponsorship with all that comes with it.

”Then Intel came along”

According to Missharvey, UBINITED might be the only independent female team on the scene. All the others play under male team flag.
– We received offers from top male teams to join because CS:GO was getting so big and we are big streamers, so they were like ’why don’t you come and join us – we can send you to one or two events.’ But then Intel came along.

How long does the contract stretch?
– I don’t know how much I can disclose, but what I can say is that we are happy.
