On Wednesday Ninja in Pyjamas pulled out of the ESEA Invite tournament, where they at the time held a two wins in six games record.
Now NiP reveal the reason behind the decision.
– It is a matter of priorities, we want to focus on DreamHack, Ninjas in Pyjamas coach Faruk ’pita’ Pita told Aftonbladet Esport.

The ESL One Cologne champions were doing fairly bad in the ESEA invite, boasting only two victories from six games. All of a sudden the scoreboard on the ESEA website changed too 2-14 as the Swedes dropped out of the league.

– It was close to DreamHack and it was the players themselves who made the decision, the team coach told Aftonbladet Esport.

The CS:GO tournament at DreamHack Winter, which was a major tournament last year, takes place within a week of the ESEA finals in the US, making it a relatively easy choice for European teams.
