Pyth after leaving Winterfox: ”I have a plan”
avJacob ”pyth” Mourujärvi has spent over six months in North America chasing his dream of mastering CS:GO.
On Friday, however, pyth announced that he’s left the international squad of Winterfox.
– I have a plan, the Swede tells Aftonbladet Esport.
The Swede Jacob ”pyth” Mourujärvi is widely considered one of the greatest Swedish CS:GO talents outside of the top teams Fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Most recently he’s been active in the international lineup of Winterfox together with Jonatan ”Devilwalk” Lundberg.
A while ago he was back in Sweden competing at the major offline qualifier, Dreamhack Stockholm. After the tourny both pyth and Devilwalk decided to remain in Sweden while awaiting green light for their American working visas. However, now it seems as if Winterfox will have to manage without their Deagle star.
”I’m not playing for Winterfox as I decided to leave the team after the major qualifiers, this has nothing to do with recent results”, pyth says on Twitter.
Aftonbladet Esport contacts pyth to learn more about his future. He says this is not the end of his career. For now he’s not moving back to North America and will continue his life in Sweden. He says a new team is being formed, but as for now things are not entirely worked out.
– I have a plan, he says.
