They lost their prospected CS:GO team at the last minute, when Kinguin swept in and outbid them for Maikelele’s and ScreaM’s new squad.
But that hasn’t deterred SK Gaming, who are still looking to get back into the game.
– We have more than one opportunity to follow up on, but we want to do it behind closed doors to actually be able to pull the trigger, manager Alexander Müller tells Aftonbladet Esport.

SK Gaming hasn’t had a CS:GO squad since Mikail ”Maikelele” Bill and Alexander ”SKYTTEN” Carlsson last played for the organization mid 2014. For the longest time, it looked like they would once again be fighting under the SK moniker, but then Kinguin swept in with a massive offer and poached the new squad.
– I’ve never heard of anyone with a contract as good as the one we have, Maikelele told Aftonbladet Esport yesterday.

”Still trying to build a team under the SK brand”

But according to manager Alexander Müller, the organization will still make a comeback on the scene and are searching actively for new members despite the recent setback.
– We are still in the market, sorting the opportunities at hand and trying to build a team under the SK brand”, he tells Aftonbladet Esport.

”Have more than one opportunity”

With the recent events in mind, he says that they’ll be more careful when preparing to sign another lineup to avoid the attention of rival companies. According to him, they have a couple of options to choose from at this moment.
– We have more than one opportunity to follow up on, but we want to do it behind closed doors to actually be able to pull the trigger.
