During match against Hellraisers in the groupstage of Fragbite Masters, Joel ”emilio” Mako of Team Property was VAC banned in the middle of the game. Team Property will now issue an official statement regarding the ban at 9 pm local Swedish time on saturday.

It was a moment that grabbed the attention of the entire CS:GO community. While facing Hellraisers in Fragbite Master, Joel ”emilio” Mako received a VAC ban.

According to Valve, a VAC ban can not be uplifted unless the system itself recognize a wrongdoing.
”Valve has a zero-tolerance policy for cheating and will not lift VAC bans under any circumstances,” the software company writes in a statement regarding the anti cheating system.

Unique situation

Team Property was given a 48 hour window to prove emilios innocence. And by 9pm on saturday the 11th October the team will put fourth a official position regarding the ban.
