MeePwn’d fell after huge mistake: ”Oh my, what a disaster”

av Tobias Lundgren

Ninjas in Pyjamas are once again in the semifinals of an Esportal qualifier after winning convincingly against MeePwn’d.
A huge mistake by the opponents Phoenix decided the first game, and from there on the Swedes could snowball to victory.
– He just waited and waited, oh my what a disaster, David ”LD” Gorman says after the blunder.

The first game between Ninjas in Pyjamas and MeePwn’d in the third Esportal Dota2 League invitational qualifier saw the team trading kills and following each other closely for the first fifteen minutes. But that would all change in a heartbeat after MeePwn’d:s TLK on his Phoenix made a crucial mistake during a teamfight, where he didn’t get his Supernova off in time.
– He waited too long for the supernova! He just waited and waited, oh my what a disaster. I don’t know why he held it for so long, a surprised David ”LD” Gorman says after the fight.

Snowballed to victory

The mistake proved to be fatal for the team as they got wiped shortly after. NiP could then snowball and win the first game with a huge 33-12 kill lead.
Strengthened by the decisive win, the Swedes continued to dominate MeePwn’d in the second match and after snowballing to a 27-14 kill lead the opponents surrendered.
– NiP seem to be on a different level from teams like MeePwn’d and Vega Squadron. They just seem to be playing a lot more solid now, LD says.

In the semifinals NiP will now face Alliance.
