Introducing the NiP DOTA 2 players, Adrian ”Era” Kryeziu

av Joachim Rittfeldt Hofvenschiöld

Intro_ABThe last introduction episode of our Dota 2 players is here, this time introducing the carry player of Ninjas in Pyjamas, the one and only Adrian ”Era” Kryeziu!

Tell us more about yourself, how did you start off your gaming career?
My gaming career started a couple years ago in Heroes of Newerth, where I played a lot of public games with a friend called Weh Sing, we got pretty high ratings at the end, so a guy called SMaK contacted us and wanted us to join his team, which was called ”Dirty Minds”. We might not have been the best team, but we’d always put on a good show, which was where we got our fame from!

What is your previous experience before you joined ventures with Ninjas in Pyjamas?
I have played under tags like KD-Gaming, LIONS aswell as Fnatic, all of them also in Heroes of Newerth. It wasn’t until I had played with Fnatic for a year that we decided to move to DotA 2.

What is your role in the team?
I am the Carry player of the team. I’m the guy who’s supposed to have the most gold and experience in the team and put high use of it. I also do make some Team calls. Well, my expectations are getting bigger as we go, from the start I just wanted to be able to qualify to a LAN and make it to top 3, but with that already in the bag, we’re striving to be able to play at the The International.

Have you always been a carry player in your previous team?
When I started playing competetively with Dirty Minds I played a lot of Mid rather than carry, it was later on in my Competetive journey that I ventured in to the Carry role.

How did you come to the decision to become carry?
Well… I always played those ”Carry like” heroes in public games before I became a Competetive player, I was never the type of guy who’d want to support some people I don’t know, so yeah… It has just always been my way of playing!

What are your expectations of the team?
Well, my expectations are getting bigger as we go, from the start I just wanted to be able to qualify to a LAN and make it to top 3, but with that already in the bag, we’re striving to be able to play at the The International.

How did you come to the decicion of starting with Dota 2?
As I stated earlier, we made the switch as a team in Fnatic, our sole reason behind it all was just that we wanted more and tougher competition, as it was all about 3 or tops 4 teams in Heroes of Newerth.
