Frezzar on the lack of a spectator mode: ”It’s terrible”
av
Dreamhack Stockholm is only hours away. Some of the worlds most premier esports professionalls have traveled to the capital of Sweden to participate in the upcoming lan. Among all the superstars we find a reserved, and a bit nervous, 16 year old Hearthstone player. But Bertil “Frezzar” Fall is as exited as one can be.
– I’ve been looking forward to this event a lot, and I’m really eager to start the competition.
The group stages of the Hearthstone tourney at Dreamhack Stockholm will begin on Wednesday. And the 16 participants have been divided in to groups of 4. Among those Frezzar will fight in group C, we find a controversial american – Andrey “Reynad” Yanyuk – who, besides being one of the best players in the world, is known for speaking his mind, often in a provocative manner.
– To be honest, I don’t care that I face him. What ever he is doing doesn’t concern me the slightest.
Who do you believe will be the toughest opposition during the event?
– Neirea, Kolent and MrYagut will have a good chance to go deep in the tournament, and might make it all the way. But of course I hope I will make it as far as possible.
”Lack of spectator mode is terrible”
As usual when a Hearthstone competition of this scale is on the horizon, the question regarding the lack of a spectator mode within the game becomes prevalent again. At Dreamhack Summer we saw controversy brewing when Dima ”Rdu” Radu received messages describing Jason ”Amaz” Chans exact hand during the finals.
– I truly believe that it is terrible that Blizzard haven’t solved the issue yet. And only in a couple of months they are supposed to organize the ‘World Cup’ of Hearthstone.
Want to qualify to Blizzcon
When asked about some changes that Blizzard actually have done, Frezzar speaks with more delight.
– The fact that both Hunter and Miracle Rouge have been nerfed will make this tournament a lot more interesting.
What classes will you bring to the groupstages?
– Obviously one will be banned by my opponent, but I will play with either a Priest, Warlook, Paladin or a Warrior.
How deep in the tournament do you see yourself go?
– I’m striving to qualify to Blizzcon, and in order to do that, I need to reach the semi-finals.
