avErlend ”nukeduck” Våtevik has signed with Team ROCCAT for the upcoming season. The much disputed Norwegian midlaner now talks about the time that have passed since he was fired from NiP following racial slurs in a lobby.
– I’ve just continued playing non stop and working on my mindset and behavior – and I think it
actually worked, nukeduck told Aftonbladet Esport.
Erlend ”nukeduck” Våtevik was barred from participating in competitive League of Legends after the world was shown the players brutal racial slurs in a game lobby. Nukeduck and his then teammate Alfonso “mithy” Aguirre were banned for six months and immediately fired from Ninjas in Pyjamas.

picture, he told Aftonbladet Esport in an email.
What have you been up to and how have you been working on your game?
– I’ve just continued playing non stop and working on my mindset and behavior.
How do you view Team ROCCAT:s chances to succeed both short term and long term?
– I think my team is really nice to work with, and I have quite high hopes for our chances – both
short and long term.
What’s your thought on Origen and what do you believe will come of Fnatic in this current situation?
– Both teams have quite good chances at success. I also wish my ex team mate mithy lots of luck!
