Maddelisk: Impossible to not express your feelings

av Tobias Lundgren

Emily ”QueenE” Krumlinde defeated Madeleine ”Maddelisk” Leander for the first time ever.
But the discussion afterwards wasn’t about the win, but about Maddelisks comment ”what a joke” during the game.
– When you care so much it’s impossible to not express your feelings. I’ve been frustrated against Protoss for a long time and I said ”what a joke” once in my disappointment but finished the series with a GG, of course, Maddelisk says the day after the game.

Reigning IeSF champion Maddelisk took her first ever loss against fellow Swede QueenE during last nights IeSF-qualifier. At one point she wrote ”what a joke” before quitting the game which led spectators to start calling her behaviour bad mannered. But now, Maddelisk explains her feelings:
– When you care so much it’s impossible to not express your feelings. I’ve been frustrated against Protoss for a long time and I said ”what a joke” once in my disappointment but finished the series with a GG, of course.

”I’m happy for QueenE”

She also sends her best wishes to QueenE who will be defending the Swedish title at IeSF in November.
– I’m disappointed that I lost but I think it’s a win for the female Starcraft 2 scene. We need more girls performing well and standing their ground. I’m happy for her sake and hope she puts on a good performance in the World Championships.

You can find Maddelisk’s blog on Aftonbladet Esport here, for the latest news about her and her life.
