He made it to the DreamHack Open finals in Stockholm, the tournament that was said to have the best field of players ever.
And after beating Kim ”herO” Joon Ho in the semifinals, Kang ”Solar” Min Soo fired some shots at his opponent, four time GSL runner-up Eo ”soO” Yoon Su.
– He’s the icon of second place.

The DreamHack Open Stockholm finals are underway, and the opponents facing eachother are GSL legend soO, who’s gone through the tournament without losing a single map, 14-0, and youngster Solar who beat Patrick ”Bunny” Brix, legend Lee ”Jaedong” Jae Dong and Kim ”herO” Joon Ho on his way to the finals.

And after securing the win against herO, Solar wasted no time taunting his final opponent, who’s been in four GSL finals without managing to secure a win.
– He’s the icon of second place, he said and got the whole Globe Arena to cheer him on.

”I’m never losing to you”

But soO soon fired back, laughing when Sue ”Smix” Lee translated what Solar had said about him.
– You can call me the icon of second place but I’m never losing to you, the dominating Zerg player replied.
