”The Chef at LTO (Limited Time Only), the pop-up restaurant at 171 East Broadway (Rutgers Street), for Friday to Sunday will be Ayinde Howell, a vegan cook who has worked as a personal chef and as executive chef at Jivamukti Yoga School. The Friday dinner menu ($65) will be based on Southern fare (grilled barbecue-rubbed seitan brisket); Saturday brunch ($50) will be Cajun (dirty quinoa among other dishes); Saturday dinner ($65) will be raw but not entirely, incuding ”fire-kissed tempeh” and roasted breadfruit; Sunday will feature a waffle brunch ($30, or à la carte $12 to $25) and a dinner with a tasting of street foods, like batter-fried tempeh tacos ($55).
