FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
avCall this my Russian Salad, since I first got the simple recipe on a trip to Moscow off the menu at a restaurant called Avocado Café. Secret ingredient here? Poppy seeds!
Basically chop up 1/2 a cucumber and 1 avocado. Sprinkle lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper on top. And lastly add the poppy seeds. Enjoy (how do you say that in Russian?)
Poppy seeds contain good levels of minerals like iron, copper, calcium, potassium, manganese, zinc, magnesium, B-complex vitamins, and fiber.
