IS IT TIME FOR NEW SNEAKERS?
avSo when is it time to change your sneakers?
My rule of thumb is usually a year (and I run about 3/week) and if the shoes are on the lighter side, then every 6 months.
Why change them? “Running in old or worn-out shoes is one of the most common causes of running injuries. Your running shoes lose shock absorption, cushioning and stability over time. Continuing to run in worn-out running shoes increases the stress and impact on your legs and joints…” – About.com
Replace your shoes every 300-400 miles, this will of course depend on your running style, weight, & surface.
Just got these bad boys, compliments of New Balance. They are super light, love that!
