THE 4 AGREEMENTS
av
This year is the one. My focus is being the best version of myself both on the inside and outside. This is my affirmation for 2013. I say this to myself everyday, in present tense, as if it’s already happened. So ”coincidentally,” when I was in Miami in December, The Four Agreements book was recommended to me – I downloaded it on iTunes as an audio book and totally forgot about it, but last night I took the subway from the city out to Bromma and it flipped up on my iPod. Wow. No words. The lessons are so profound, so life changing, that it’s hard for me to summarize it for you.
Humans are programmed to make agreements with one another and to yourself, these agreements are like rules that we automatically follow, but some of these made up rules might have a negative effect on us. This book helps you rework your mind by applying 4 new agreements. One is only using ”impeccable words” – words that are truthful and positive. And since I believe in the law of attraction – what goes out, must come back to you – this is a strong one.
Have you ever just monitored your thoughts? Do that, and see what kind of reality you are creating for yourself. What’s the first thought you think in the morning? Is it… ”I’m so grateful to wake up in this healthy beautiful body and can’t wait to see what this day has in store for me” or is it ”Oh great, I have nothing to wear today, nothing that looks good on my body. I have so much that needs to get done, I give up.”
Start by just becoming concious of your thoughts and when you say something negative, don’t judge yourself, just be kind and replace those words with something positive. Guys, our minds are so powerful, and as mentioned our words and thoughts create our current and future situations, so choose them wisely.
