What to do today? Spring clean your cupboards and fridge – throw out stale gingerbread snaps from Christmas, any lingering junk food, that old milk in the fridge, etc. You get the point. And go to your favorite health food store for inspiration. Stock up on your favorites and try something new. I headed to Gryningen yesterday… If you live in Stockholm, give it a try. There is something I love about snipping off a few centimeters of my hair – it’s like a fresh new start. Marre at Bangs in Stockholm worked his magic on my hair yesterday and I absolutely love it. As I’m sure many of you Swedes already know, he is a master at long locks and actually convinced me to cut less. That’s never happened before… It’s so nice to sit in a chair with someone that looks out for your best interest, and considers what’s optimal for your features. Also his color techniques are out of this world, as I was walking in, a gorgeous new redhead left in a glowing bouncy nouvelle look. If you’re interested in a hair cut with him, book ahead. Just a little tip… xx

Sorry for the slim blog posts lately, been spending some time with… myself. Getting everything up and running here in Stockholm. And I’m happy to say that things are going better than expected. Anyways back to the importance of ”me time.” It’s vital to listen to your intuition and follow your internal voice. If your body says slow down, well then do that! If your gut says go this way, then do that. We all need to get connected with our own guidance system. Yes, you have one too… and yes, it works. You might just have it on mute. I turned up the volume on mine this month and have been devoted to myself – meditating, going to bikram yoga, planning my summer wedding, coaching my ladies, seeing old + new friends, running in the snow, journaling, trying new raw recipes, exploring the city, reading ”Conscious Eating,” etc. – simply doing things that make me happy. What would make you happy? Make some time for yourself this week – even if it’s just an hour.

Alrighty chocolate lovers, yeah I’m talking to you… Here is a healthy way to enjoy this fruit. Mix 2 tablespoons cacao, a small banana, 1-1.5 cups of almond milk, and a drop of agave.
