New year, new you, new workout gear from… Lulu Lemon. It was a girl’s day at Aventura Mall today – Mom, my sister Louise and I stocked up on exercise tights and yoga shirts at our favorite shop. Always good to get fresh clothing for motivation. See you at bikram…

UP & DOWN IN A DAY…

Took a flight up to NYC for the day, to make the final decision on the wedding dress! Had time to get a manicure at my favorite place Blooming Nails and eat lunch at One Lucky Duck. Definitely got some help from the Angels… got upgraded to first class twice. I love New York, but it’s too crazy and loud for me nowadays, very happy about my decision to move to Sweden. See you guys soon! One week till I depart…

QUESTION:

Hi Filippa,

You are such an inspiring person! I have always been very healthy and many people are complaining about it, how did you tell people to back off about it? Or nobody have complained about you eating raw food? Then I have another question…I have been a vegetarian since two years back. And now I got to know that I am allergic to milk, which means it’s like being vegan… What can I eat/drink instead?

ANSWER:

Hej Anna,

Oh the social aspect of eating healthy… been there, done that 🙂 I have always respected the way others eat, and therefore hope that people do the same regarding my own choices. In the beginning you will get a lot of reactions and opinions, but these will subside after a while… There is no ”normal” way of eating, we are all different. My advice is just to remain calm and explain that you want to treat your body right and give it all the nutrients it needs, in it’s purest form. Don’t let those ”Negative Nancy” type personalities get to you and stay focused on what is right for your body, mind, and soul.

For an alternative to diary, just switch for almond milk. Taste great!

Did Vinyasa Yoga with Anastasia Hessel at the Icon Building on Brickell. Pretty beautiful right? We had a great teacher and definitely going to feel this in my legs. Namaste!
