Hard Rock President hittad död i sitt Las Vegas hem

LAS VEGAS — The Clark County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death of Hard Rock President and Chief Operating Officer Andrew ”Randy” Kwasniewski was a suicide.

FOX5 first reported Kwasniewski’s death Tuesday morning after his body was found at his Summerlin home. He died of a single self-inflicted gunshot to the head.

According to his biography in BusinessWeek, Kwasniewski began his career with Hyatt resorts in 1974 and later worked for Doubletree and Wyndham hotels.

An executive with more than 30 years experience, Kwasniewski served as the vice president of operations of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino from January 2004 to May 2005, overseeing all hotel, food and beverage, retail and employee operations.He was appointed president of Hard Rock Holdings, LLC, in October 2006.

The Las Vegas property had recently undergone a massive $750 million renovation and expansion project. That included the opening of the new HRH tower in late January.
